Enable Fire&Smoke - global setting that allow
you temporary disable all F&S components.
Last Computed Frame - quantity of cached,
already computed frames.
Reset Simulation - clears all cached frames.
START/STOP Simulation - starts/stops frames
calculation. Enable will be automatically turned on. Remember that
you have to disable 'Play at Exact Rate' in Layout settings in order
to get proper geometry calculations.

Selection - makes selection of all items in particular type.
You can browse those items in the pop-up menu beneath.
Object - selected layout objects of particular
type. For instance if selection was set to 'Emitters' you can browse
here all objects that emits particles.
Change Settings - opens settings panel
for selected item.

Copy Settings - copies settings from selected
item (you can have copied independently settings for different item
types) to a buffer.
Paste Settings - pastes copied settings
from the buffer. Paste command knows which type of settings you have
stored in memory and which to paste. Random Seed value will not be
pasted.
Include Gradient - you can paste settings
without color gradient. It is very useful when you need to adjust
few emitters with identical settings but different colors.

Detach Plugin - Removes plugin from selected
item.

Plugin Type - you are going to attach
to selected item.
Attach Plugin - attaches selected plugin
type to selected object.

Show LW Particles - global switch. It
turns on LightWave internal particles that can be rendered with any
volumetric shader like HyperVoxels. This option is automatically turned
on during rendering session. Because LW particles may slow down refresh
rate plugin allow you to turn them off. If you want to see HV OpenGL
preview you have to turn it on.
Show Vortexes - global switch. It turns
vortexes drawing in vewports for all F&S components. In the top
view you can see Vortex Area (red circle), in any side view you can
see Vortex Radius (red circles) and Area (red line), in any perspective
view you can see only twister position (dot)
Show Wind Vector - global switch. It turns
on Wind vector drawing.
Show Collision Mesh - global switch. It
turns on red colision mesh drawing that allow you to watch collision
objects shape changes. |
